From the Summary tab, there are two ways to import your data:
- Import File – choose individual files to import
- Import Folder – import all chromatograms within a folder, including subfolders and snapshots
All imported data will appear in the Summary tab.
Option 1: Import File
This is the default method to import from the Tool Bar. This option is ideal if you only want to import select chromatograms.
- Select Import Files from the Summary tab
- Open the folder containing your chromatogram(s)
- Select which file(s) to import
Note: You will only be able to select multiple files if they are in the same folder.
Option 2: Import Folder
This option is ideal if you want to import many data files from the same location at once.
Note: Report files with the .csv format within the folder may also be imported.
- Select Import Folder from the summary tab
- Select the folder you would like to import
- Choose how the imported files will be named
- Sample ID – ideal when all samples within a project are unique. Blanks or duplicate runs with the same name will not be differentiated
- File Name
- Folder Name – ideal when the project includes duplicate runs or samples with the same name.
